- ➤ Syracuse University is ranked No. 1 among New York’s private colleges for online bachelor’s programs in U.S. News and World Report’s 2026 Best Online Programs rankings. - ➤ The Syracuse City School District voted on Jan. 20 to remove Commissioner Twiggy Billue after staff reported that her actions blurred personal and official roles (including confusing her grandson's classroom placement).
