- ➤ On Dec. 30, 2025, Syracuse recorded 24.2 inches of snow, making it the snowiest day after a local weather sleuth + the National Weather Service corrected a decades-old error that once listed Feb. 15, 1946, as having 34 inches; updated records now show the snowfall then was 2.4 inches. - ➤ Micron officially announced plans for a semiconductor facility in Clay on Oct. 27 when President Biden and state leaders outlined a new high-tech hub.
