- ➤ Officials have launched the official website and social media platforms for the Onondaga Aquarium at the Inner Harbor, giving locals a window into the construction and upcoming exhibits. - ➤ The Oneida Indian Nation’s Turning Stone Evolution expansion in Verona (at the resort casino) will open a 258-room Crescent Hotel and Salt Seafood and Raw Bar on June 29 with hiring starting in March to fill up to 300 jobs, while a Grand Expo center will open on Labor Day. Syracuse.com

- ➤ According to Census Bureau data released in January, Syracuse City School District's child poverty rate dropped from 37.9% in 2023 to 29.0% in 2024 with over 6,200 children affected, though the district remained 16th highest in the state.
