- ➤ Tipperary Hill turned green as thousands gathered on Sunday for the 63rd annual Green Beer Sunday at Coleman’s Authentic Irish Pub despite snowy weather. The event began in the 1960s and now kicks off St. Patrick’s season with a mini parade, live music and beer from a tanker truck. CNY Central
- ➤ Mayor Sharon Owens hosted her first Mayor’s Ball at the Museum of Science and Technology in downtown Syracuse on Saturday, Feb. 21, drawing hundreds to a sold-out fundraiser with ticket prices ranging from $75 to $1,000. Syracuse.com

- ➤ County Executive Ryan McMahon confirmed that Micron will cover the 1 billion dollar cost of a new wastewater treatment plant at the Oak Orchard site in Clay to support its chip factories planned for 2030, while Legislature Chairwoman Nicole Watts said a vote on the project awaits clearer cost details.
