- ➤ A 34-year-old woman remains critically injured after a shooting on the 200 block of Fitch Street as police arrived around 3:44 p.m. on Saturday — they found her with a gunshot wound to her neck — and she was taken to University Hospital. CNY Central

- ➤ Syracuse residents gathered on Salina Street for the annual St. Patrick's Parade—also known as 3-1-5 Day—where festive attire and warm weather lifted community spirit despite some wind gusts. - ➤ LaFargeville's girls basketball team reached the state semifinals by beating South Kortright 56-47 on Saturday at Tompkins Cortland Community College—where Emeline Barton scored 33 points.
