- ➤ David Huff (43) was arrested Tuesday morning after police found him walking near West Seneca Turnpike following a manhunt for the man accused of killing his girlfriend and his 11-year-old son in a Monday night shooting at 128 Roney Road; he is charged with first-degree murder, second-degree murder and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon. - ➤ Strong storms on March 16 left many Syracuse households with low water pressure as the 100-year-old water system experienced about 115 water breaks and a major water main break on 7th North St.—City officials said intake closures at Skaneateles Lake, power outages affecting pump stations and leaky pipes worsened the situation while water use remains unrestricted, even though a timeline for restoration has not been set. - ➤ The city and county are renovating a vacant four-unit home at 187-89 Lincoln Avenue—now set to be a lead safe space—for families forced to leave during lead-paint repairs.
