- ➤ Central New York will host the 2025 Food Truck Battle at Chevy Court at the New York State Fairgrounds on May 16 from 4-10 p.m. and May 17 from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., where over 55 food trucks will compete for awards and live music plus family activities will round out the weekend festival. - ➤ The Syracuse Common Council met Wednesday with the Department of Water to discuss low water pressure that still affects some homes. Officials said a leak detection firm found four small leaks in the morning and noted the department is short 10 water maintenance workers—plans to test pumps and contact the county water authority are underway.
