- ➤ The third annual Chief Stach Memorial Blood Drive took place on Saturday, Apr. 4 at the Clay Fire Department (the site where he dedicated 49 years serving Onondaga County) through the American Red Cross to honor his legacy. CNY Central
- ➤ Fishing returned to Carpenter's Brook Hatchery in Elbridge on Saturday, April 4 when families, groups and individuals enjoyed a catch-and-release program starting at 9 a.m., and the program will run every Saturday through May 9 for $5 per person (children two and younger free, with no licenses required). - ➤ A new kids podcast at Onondaga County Public Libraries highlights library events and features special guests like County Executive Ryan McMahon and former NFL player Latavius Murray. The weekly show airs every Saturday morning on Community FM and is designed for children aged 5 to 12. CNY Central
- ➤ Syracuse University’s Student Government Association announced its spring election results on Saturday with Emily Castillo elected president and Max Lachut chosen as executive vice president under the Promise to Progress campaign.
