- ➤ The School of Architecture announced that Jeannine Lostritto—a Syracuse University Trustee and Advisory Board member—will address convocation graduates at Hendricks Chapel on Saturday, May 9, at 10 a.m. She is widely recognized for her long-standing support of the university. - ➤ Tops Friendly Markets announced a recall of Christopher Ranch and Garland Fresh peeled garlic products (distributed in New York, Pennsylvania and Vermont) due to a possible botulism risk after a routine inspection found improper storage, and customers should return affected items for a refund. - ➤ Project Lifesaver uses radio frequency bracelets to help first responders quickly locate vulnerable residents with autism & dementia who wander in Onondaga County, and families can sign up through the sheriff’s office or local agencies to gain peace of mind knowing missing persons are often found within minutes.
