- ➤ County Executive Ryan McMahon announced Tuesday at the Syracuse Academy of Science Charter School that the new aquarium will be called Harborview Aquarium after the Coffey sisters proposed the winning name; the facility, set to open in September, has received sponsorship donations. Syracuse.com
- ➤ A new memorial at the James Pass Arboretum in Tipp Hill was unveiled yesterday to honor fallen officers Michael Jensen and Lt. Michael Hoosock, who were killed in the line-of-duty.
