- ➤ Pastors and civil rights advocates held a rally Tuesday night at Bethany Baptist Church in DeWitt demanding that deputy John Rosello, who fatally shot two teens in 2023 after turning off his dashboard camera during a 911 call, be removed from active duty—community leaders also called for improved training and mandatory use of body cameras to prevent future violence.
