- ➤ Students, faculty and staff will walk Tuesday, April 28 at noon at Schine Student Center to support Chancellor Syverud and raise funds for brain cancer research — the walk ends at Crouse-Hinds Hall at 2:30 p.m., where participants can wear gray, pick up ribbons and leave messages of support. - ➤ Kent Syverud, Syracuse University’s outgoing chancellor, will begin aggressive brain cancer treatment in Michigan today, postponing his plan to thank the many supporters who helped build the university over his twelve-year tenure.
