On Apr. 28, 250 students, staff and faculty held a 'Go Gray in May Walk' to support Chancellor Syverud, battling brain cancer, and raise funds for the Brain Tumor Foundation.

Local libraries will attend community events around Onondaga County to sign up neighbors for library cards.

Two former Metro Mattress workers revived the chain by reopening eight stores in Syracuse and nearby areas, with a ninth scheduled in North Syracuse in June and a tenth planned by year-end.

Syracuse University will rename Orange Hall to H.
