- ➤ Fayetteville-Manlius voters will decide the school budget and elect board members next week to fill three open seats. Only Robert Spencer and current board member Kristen Purcell are on the ballot while write-in candidates Elizabeth Mossovitz and Merieke Kearns seek support (spelling must be correct for write-ins). - ➤ Positive Growth Daycare held its ribbon-cutting on Friday, May 15 at 1640 South Ave in south Syracuse — owner Denika L. Lundy said the new center was created to meet a local need for quality childcare that emphasizes early learning. CNY Central

- ➤ Sen. Chris Ryan hosted a free utility assistance clinic at the Jewish Community Center on Thursday, May 14 to help residents lower energy bills.
