ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ Crews from local fire departments and the Onondaga County Sheriff's Office searched Tully Lake Sunday for the body of a 21-year-old man who was kayaking with a friend and went into the water around 3:35 p.m., and the search turned into a recovery mission using sonar. Syracuse.com

- ➤ On June 14, Onondaga County deputies responded to a report of a man in his 30s shot in the buttocks near the 400 block of Brookfield Rd in Mattydale in the Town of Salina—he remains in stable condition and authorities believe the shooting was not random while the investigation continues. - ➤ Police are investigating a hit-and-run collision — a motorcyclist in his late 50s was seriously injured Sunday at 6:29 p.m. at the intersection of Midland Avenue and West Borden Avenue when a dirt bike struck him and its operator fled — and he was taken to Upstate University Hospital where he is expected to survive. - ➤ On Saturday, June 14, 2025, firefighters arrived at 8073 Crockett Drive in Cicero where an 81-year-old man and a 75-year-old woman died in a house fire—three residents were trapped when first responders arrived—and two firefighters were injured. Syracuse.com
