- ➤ On Saturday, nearly 7,000 people gathered in Syracuse for the nationwide No Kings protest on Solar Street near Destiny USA—it stretched almost three-quarters of a mile and featured speakers like Congressman John Mannion and local veterans urging change. - ➤ A fire damaged a first-floor apartment at Parkside Commons at 2121 E. Fayette St. on Saturday night when firefighters arrived at about 8:18 p.m.—no one was inside and no injuries were reported as the blaze was contained in 20 minutes. Syracuse.com
- ➤ On June 14, a fire on Crockett Drive in Cicero killed two elderly residents—Anthony Senzarino, 81, and Diane Senzarino, 75—while injuring firefighters who were treated and released on June 15 and a blind 24-year-old grandson escaped by using his sense of heat. CNY Central
