ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ On July 4, firefighters responded at 7:20 p.m. to a blaze on Midland Avenue started by a reckless discharge of fireworks that injured two children and one adult—one child was taken to Upstate Golisano Children's Hospital for burns while five residents escaped and 15 displaced people are being aided by the Red Cross, according to the Syracuse Fire Department. - ➤ Syracuse Police arrested 15-year-old Kyari Cunningham on Monday at a home on Martin Luther King Boulevard after a shooting at the Onondaga Park pool on June 24 killed 15-year-old Adhon Thomas + he was charged with second-degree murder and criminal possession of a weapon. CNY Central
- ➤ A Syracuse woman, Ashley Roche, is facing a new homicide charge after an indictment in Onondaga County Court following her arrest over a year ago for fatally stabbing Jahliek Stewart with a large kitchen knife through an open car window on the 1900 block of East Fayette Street on June 23.
