- ➤ A teenager was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident in Cicero on Saturday night near the 8000 block of Alizarin Avenue—he was taken to Upstate University Hospital after colliding with an SUV around 7 p.m. and remains in serious but stable condition. Syracuse.com
- ➤ A crash reported at about 7:30 a.m. Saturday forced the closure of I-81 North at the LaFayette exit and led to one person being taken to Upstate University Hospital—state police, Onondaga Nation Fire Department and LaFayette Ambulance Corps responded while the highway remained closed from LaFayette to I-481 near Syracuse. - ➤ A man in his thirties was shot three times Friday night in Lyncourt during an argument near the corner of Galster and Teall avenues (he was hit in the buttocks and upper leg) and was taken to St. Joseph’s Hospital before being transferred to Upstate University Hospital, where he remains in good condition, authorities said. - ➤ Syracuse police responded to a stabbing in the 400 block of Gifford Street on July 25th and found a 37-year-old man with a stab wound to his left head who was taken to Upstate University Hospital for treatment—he is expected to survive—and the investigation remains active. CNY Central
