  • At the KRockathon Reboot on July 26 in Syracuse, bands such as Set It Off, Alien Ant Farm, Drowning Pool, Candlebox, and Nothing More delivered disconnected performances with modest crowds and slow EMS response—raising concerns over the event’s management. GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • The New York State Department of Transportation announced I-81 in Syracuse will be closed on weeknights (7 p.m. to 6 a.m.) today through August 2 and again August 4 through August 9 for the demolition of the East Glen Avenue bridge; northbound lanes from Exit 16A to Exit 17 and southbound lanes near Exit 17 will be affected and detours are in place.  CNY Central
