- ➤ The Food Bank of Central New York said it will adjust to SNAP benefit cuts and continue serving local residents who need food. - ➤ Gilbane has been hired by Micron Technology to clear trees and prepare the site on Route 31—Caughdenoy Road in Clay for a future chipmaking complex. - ➤ Syracuse beat its 2012 Sustainability Plan targets by cutting municipal emissions to 67% and community emissions to 29% using steps like switching 18,000 streetlights to LED bulbs and choosing fuel-efficient vehicles—Mayor Ben Walsh said the results encourage more tree planting and green projects.
