  • Sarah Karalunas, a Syracuse native returning from Purdue University (where she served as an associate professor), was named the new Cobb-Jones Clinical Psychology Endowed Professor and will chair the Department of Psychology at the College of Arts and Sciences.  Syracuse University

  • Interstate 81 in Syracuse will have one lane in each direction overnight from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday through Wednesday for bridge work on the I-81 Viaduct Project — drivers should expect possible delays due to weather-related schedule changes.  Syracuse.com
  • Veterans and union members will rally outside the Syracuse VA Medical Center on Friday to protest federal moves that would cut veteran healthcare and end union contracts — one of 11 nationwide actions planned in response to the termination of union agreements.  CNY Central
