- ➤ Micron has begun work to install its new logo on the One Lincoln Center building on Fayette Street in downtown Syracuse — crews have blocked off the street and will complete the work by Sept. 23. The company said this milestone supports a long-term plan that includes building up to four chipmaking plants in Clay. Syracuse.com

- ➤ Syracuse Stage is showing a new version of the musical 'The Hello Girls' at the Archbold Theatre until Sept.28 — the show uses new music and staging to tell the WWI story of America's first women soldiers and included a free veterans performance on Sept.9. Syracuse University
- ➤ Carina Sposato, a Syracuse native, won her first Emmy Award Sunday for her work as co-executive producer on the hit Netflix series Adolescence—she shared the honor with 13 others including Brad Pitt and Stephen Graham. - ➤ Governor Kathy Hochul on Monday said that more than $6.7 million in police technology upgrades were used at the Syracuse Public Safety Building as crime in Syracuse dropped 28% year-to-date—Syracuse Police received $1.3 million to purchase LED lighting, drones and a robot dog named Spot for safer operations. - ➤ On Monday at 12 p.m., a new off ramp at Exit 3 in Dewitt opened for drivers on Interstate 481 south—combining three older exits into one to ease congestion and improve safety. The ramp leads drivers to Genesee Street at a traffic light and local businesses expect more customers. CNY Central
- ➤ Onondaga County Executive Ryan McMahon today is proposing a $1.6 billion budget for 2026 that includes a tax rate cut, $6 million for a new sheriff’s helicopter, and $700,000 to begin using police drones for 911 calls—he presented his plan at 11 a.m. to the county Legislature. Syracuse.com
