ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ A new pilot program in Syracuse used traps and wildlife officers shooting deer to remove 137 white-tailed deer and reduce car accidents, Lyme disease risks, and damage to parks — it also processed over 400 pounds of venison to make over 12,000 meals for the food bank. CNY Central
CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ On Friday, Syracuse University and Haudenosaunee Faithkeeper Oren Lyons signed a joint stewardship agreement to donate his collection of letters, notes, artwork, and photographs to the Special Research Collections Center—preserving his legacy and the cultural history of the Haudenosaunee.
