- ➤ Stephen Baldwin won the Sophia Award at the Syracuse International Film Festival held in Cazenovia—its 22nd anniversary event ended Sunday. Executive director Michelle DiBernardo said the festival will remain in Cazenovia and plans are underway to bring a major film with big names in the future. CNY Central

- ➤ SU hosts its 37th annual Remembrance Week from Oct. 19 to 25 to honor lives lost in the 1988 Pan Am Flight 103 bombing, including 35 SU students.
