- ➤ In Syracuse, business owner Duyên Nguyễn is set to open Tea House by Cake Bar, a new café offering authentic Vietnamese tea drinks and desserts as a place to relax. - ➤ Starting today, Syracuse drivers who exceed the 20 mph limit in active school zones will receive automated $50 tickets by mail after a 60-day grace period in which over 95,000 warning tickets were issued that would have produced $4.7 million in fines—city officials say the program is designed to keep students safe. Red light cameras began issuing fines on Sunday—tickets must be paid or disputed within 40 days to avoid additional penalties. Syracuse.com

- ➤ Last Sunday, crowds in purple attended the annual Walk to End Alzheimer’s at the SRC Arena at Onondaga Community College where they picked blue, purple, yellow, and orange flowers to honor different connections to the cause.
