- ➤ Landmark Theatre in downtown Syracuse is starting its 2026 centennial campaign to raise funds for an $8.7M renovation and debut a new Magnarelli Marquee with local leaders in attendance. - ➤ For the first time in over 30 years, OCM BOCES is asking voters in 23 school districts to approve a $30.5 million project to upgrade safety and add classroom space at Cortlandville and Syracuse campuses—voting will take place on Wednesday, Nov. 19 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and, if approved, construction will begin in two to three years. - ➤ Twenty-four high school boys soccer teams are playing at Middletown High School, with three Section III teams including Baldwinsville, Westhill, and Hamilton. - ➤ Former Syracuse defensive back Steve Gregory now serves as Vanderbilt’s defensive coordinator and is credited with turning around the team’s fortunes by guiding an upset win over Alabama—their first since 1984—and steady improvement to an 8-2 record.
