- ➤ The 25th Annual Fifth Judicial District National Adoption Day was held on November 21 at the OnCenter—40 children were adopted as family court judges finalized each placement. - ➤ Le Moyne College will offer a new applied physics degree in fall 2026 to prepare students for opportunities at the soon-to-be-built Micron chipmaking facility near Syracuse. - ➤ On Friday, Onondaga County announced it reached a deal with 91-year-old widow Azalia King—who had lived in her home for 60 years—to allow her to leave her property for Micron Technology, and County Executive Ryan McMahon said the deal will be approved in December by the Onondaga County Industrial Development Agency. - ➤ Centro is redesigning bus routes in Onondaga County—adding more buses on key downtown routes and replacing fixed routes in suburbs with on-demand service—and will start running the new system in 2027.
