- ➤ Starting Dec. 15, Syracuse will begin its annual deer cull through March to reduce vehicle collisions, green space damage, and tick illnesses; trained USDA sharpshooters will work on approved private sites (with property owner permission) at night as part of the Tick and Deer Management Plan.
