- ➤ Hundreds gathered on Saturday morning at the Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, placing 3,500 live balsam wreaths under heavy snow to honor fallen service members. - ➤ A townhouse fire on West Brighton Ave displaced three residents Saturday afternoon at 504 West Brighton Ave, as firefighters controlled the blaze, which caused extensive damage in one unit & minor damage in an adjacent one while property management and the Red Cross provided assistance. - ➤ The Spaghetti Warehouse, a long-loved restaurant with a trolley car dining room, will serve its final meals on Dec. 31 after more than 35 years, and its historic building near Franklin Square will be repurposed as headquarters for Click Stream Studios (retaining iconic features for digital production). - ➤ Micron Technology received nine state permits on Friday to begin clearing its Clay site for a $100 billion semiconductor plant on Route 31 — a key step ahead of further approvals needed to start work in coming weeks. Syracuse.com
- ➤ Anheuser-Busch announced it will close three US breweries in early 2026 and shift production to its largest facility in Lysander near Baldwinsville, which recently received a $9 million upgrade.
