- ➤ A hot mill at the Novelis plant in Oswego County remains idle after recent fires disrupted aluminum processing for Ford and other auto makers. Novelis plans to restart the mill by month’s end (a move meant to restore confidence amid supply chain concerns). WAER
- ➤ Gas prices have hit a four-year low, with pumps in Syracuse showing $3.06—a drop of two cents from last Monday—according to AAA WCNY. Lower crude oil prices and a cheaper winter blend gasoline are driving the decline. CNY Central
