- ➤ The Mary Nelson Youth Center held a holiday gift giveaway on Saturday at Nottingham High School that provided thousands of families with toys, winter essentials, household goods, clothing and even Christmas trees donated by Amazon and Good360. - ➤ After the ABC World News Tonight feature on Friday, Dec. 19, The Chocolate Pizza Co. in Marcellus saw a flood of online orders that briefly crashed its website — including 500 Amazon orders — and has halted web orders until Jan. 5 while local shoppers visit in person. Syracuse.com
- ➤ Sally’s Apizza plans to open 255 new locations in 12 states from 2026 — including 25 in New York. The first New York spot will be built at Roosevelt Field next year as construction begins. Syracuse.com

- ➤ The Onondaga County Water Authority is urging residents in six towns (Manlius, Pompey, DeWitt, Sullivan, Lenox, and Lincoln) to conserve water after a major transmission main broke. Repairs may take up to a week, and lower water flow and pressure are expected. Syracuse.com
