ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ A Friday afternoon house fire at 222 West Matson Avenue on Syracuse’s South Side left four people displaced with no injuries as firefighters arrived at 3:21 p.m. and quickly controlled the blaze—Red Cross personnel are now assisting those affected while investigators work to determine the cause. CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ The New York State Fair will start in less than two weeks and will show new things like an Ice Age exhibit with life-size animals, a stunt show with special rescue dogs, and a light show by drones—with extra acts like a mentalist and lumberjack show to entertain visitors. CNY Central
- ➤ Syracuse native William Strobeck curated the 'DEAD END.' exhibit at the Everson Museum of Art, which runs through August 31—featuring work from 12 artists that explores skate culture.
