- ➤ A fire damaged a vacant 2 1/2-story house on Syracuse’s South Side on Sunday night when firefighters reached 204 Lincoln Ave. at 9:14 p.m.—they quickly put out flames in the rear stairwell and found minor smoke and water damage while investigators work to determine the cause. Syracuse.com
- ➤ On Monday, Syracuse firefighters responded to a house fire on Park Street (in the 1100 block) and extinguished it in about 15 minutes with no injuries or occupants (investigators are examining the cause). CNY Central
